ABOUT
US
SasvariWay
Soccer Training Centers, LTD. CO. is based in Longwood,
FL and provides soccer education for all levels of
players, parents, and coaches throughout the United
States and Europe. We conduct camps, clinics, and
special events for boys and girls age 4 - 22 years
old. Coaching education programs are designed for
parents and youth coaches.
SasvariWay
differentiates itself from typical programs by
building character based education into a curriculum
focused on the player rather than the coach and
emphasizes creativity and imagination. The company started in 1995 by George Sasvari and has
conducted programs/events in Alabama, Florida, Illinois,
Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, South
Carolina, Washington and internationally in Denmark and
Scotland.
SasvariWay
also creates events to promote causes, initiatives, fundraisers,
and parent education. We teach kids how to give back
and make a difference (i.e. sportsmanship,
charitable causes, prevent obesity, etc.).
OUR
PASSION
We
are passionate about player development. We
believe soccer training doesn't have to compromise
learning content for kids to have fun. The learning
environment is our centerpiece and we are more convinced
than ever that soccer training should be an educational
experience that inspires kids to be creative, perform
with confidence, and have fun while improving at playing
soccer.

"You
should know, that the things you said, at the camp we
had, I agree 100 percent with and I believe in the same.
If you have the passion for the game, then you
are ahead in front of your teammates!
You got my respect already after 2 days at the
camp. I
could see your passion for the game, right away and the
way you treated us was completely amazing. And all that
work with the players and driving them, you just have
control over it all - that was very impressive."

CONCEPTION
- The SasvariWay About
George Sasvari - (President &
Founder)
The idea of building a program
that enhances player development was born out of
passion. That passion is based on providing a more
effective way to teach children to play a game that is still
foreign in the United States when it comes to player
development. As soccer in the United States has grown
into a recognizable and respectable sport it still lacks
players with the ability to read the game. SasvariWay
is a training environment that teaches players
to solve problems and create opportunities through a
methodology that promotes innovation,
imagination, creativity, awareness, and decision-making.
Our
curriculum integrates the most advanced training methods
into an environment where the player comes first.
We specialize in teaching players to exceed
themselves and creating environments that enhance that
process.
Developing outstanding individual performance for
playing in a team environment is a daily standard.
The
United States has the ability to produce technically
gifted players but struggle to produce playmakers or
those who make creative decisions on their own. This
is mainly due to the style in which the sport is taught
at younger levels. Youth
Development in the United States has followed a very
distinctive path.
Curriculum using coaching jargon and concepts
dominate programs.
Players are taught the game from a coach’s
point of view rather than from the perspective of the
player.
Moreover
training methods tend to be inconsistent with how children
naturally learn everyday skills on their own.
As a result players don’t learn how to solve
problems in their own way but rather the way they think
coaches want them solved.
The emergence and massive growth of the X-Games
generation, where creativity is fostered and celebrated is an
example of children running away from strict coaching.
Today’s version of snowboarding, skateboarding, etc.
is the ultimate example of children expressing their
creativity with virtually no interference from adults.
Sasvari
Way is designed to change the style in which players
learn to play. It is born out of studying how
children learn.
Youth coaches in the U.S. tend to teach soccer the same
way other traditional sports are taught. American style
football, baseball, and basketball emphasize the coach
who controls most of the environment and decisions that
are made by the player.
Even with trained professional coaches with
good intentions, players are told what decisions to make
in certain situations based on a coach's vision of how they
should play. Young players are NOT trained in an environment
to meet the demands of the game with their own solution. They
are taught to perform and play the way the coach wants them to
play.
As a result, players in the United States today
display "technical" abilities on a par with the rest of the
world. However they do not possess the "skills" or "insight"
necessary to find creative solutions to the many variations in
tactics they face in modern football (soccer).
The
SasvariWay is a refreshing approach that emphasizes the
player. Activities
are designed for players to "read" the game and find
solutions based on concepts for possession and/or regaining
possession. This program promises to change the way players
are developed in the United States. It’s player development
without taking away their
creativity.
The SasvariWay is implemented
through Coaching Mastery, Player Development Programs, and
Training Centers. |
