Each program includes the following:

  1. Written curriculum - outlining specific developmental training activities for each field session.  This allows coaches to have a guideline for continuing the same training with their team.

  2. Classroom Education - Players and/or coaches receive guidance in understanding and how to implement the Sasvari Way including curriculum workbook, video’s, and goal setting.

  3. Training Sessions - participation by players/coaches in field training sessions under the direction of the TSW technical staff.

TRAINING SESSIONS

The training sessions on the field are designed based on the length of time available for each team and the specific focus.  Our training philosophy helps every player perform with simplicity, creativity, and awareness of their every thought and move.  Students learn to open their mind through awareness, vision, and communication and become the complete player prepared to go to the next level.

Each player will develop the ability to find solutions to problems encountered on the field.  Players learn to make “thoughtful” decisions while performing under pressure.  They are taught to recognize and judge situations while using positional tactics to find creative solutions with the ball.  Each player is challenged to apply awareness and decision-making techniques combined with skill to keep possession and to re-gain possession.  This program is for the aspiring player looking to achieve a higher level.

Topics include:

  • Possession: Individual Attack, Using Possession to Create Chances to Score, Attacking as a Team
  • Re-Gaining Possession: Individual Defending, Pressure and Support to defend in Quadrants, Defending as a Team
  • Transition: Changing from Defense to Attack, Changing from Attack to Defense

Destiny to Success - Each participant will experience Destiny to Success, a step-by-step goal-setting program in the classroom designed to develop and create the skills for reaching achievement.  This date with destiny will teach players how to take consistent action toward fulfilling your goals.  You will learn how to be more aware and develop better insight into performance.

Learn how to create success for yourself by opening your mind to do what you thought you couldn’t do.  The Destiny to Success workbook will help each player:

  • Set goals and take action.

  • Working toward peak performance.

  • Use the power of focus you already have.

  • Using thought processes to create positive outcomes.

  • Developing the ability to be successful - in soccer and in life.

Match Analysis - TSW will provide written technical reports of club matches.  This will provide teams and their coach with an analysis of strengths and weaknesses observed in a single match with recommendations for future training.

Parent Education - In general, parents have a biased view of player development and need information on advanced training methods and what they should expect from a quality-training program.  They need a better understanding of what a club and coach should provide for their child to fully understand the value of what they are receiving.

ODP Preparation – This program will enhance players' chances for success in Olympic Development Program trials and prepare them for integrating back to their club in the team environment.
